Staying
Most guests will be glamping with us at the venue for the whole weekend — that's the heart of the plan, and we'd love everyone on site.
Glamping at La Chartreuse
Proper beds under canvas in the venue grounds, steps from the pool, the bar and the party. Full details — what's provided, what to bring, and costs — are being finalised and will be posted here and in the guest portal. Tell us in your RSVP whether you'd like a tent and we'll take it from there.
Rooms in the house
La Chartreuse itself sleeps around 21 people in en-suite rooms across the main house, gite and tower. These are limited and largely spoken for by family and the wedding party — if you have a genuine need for a solid roof (mobility, very small babies), email us and we'll see what we can do.
Staying nearby instead
If canvas really isn't your thing, the area has plenty of B&Bs and gites. Eymet, a lively bastide town a short drive away, is the best base — lots of small hotels and chambres d'hôtes, plus restaurants and bars. Thenac has the upmarket option: Château des Vigiers, a 4-star hotel with a spa and golf course. Book early; late July is high season in the Dordogne.
In the RSVP form you'll pick glamping or sorting my own accommodation per person — you can change it later as plans firm up.
